Rabbinical Institute
The Russian-speaking Rabbinical Training Institute is the first in the world to train certified rabbis fully in Russian.
We are the official Russian-speaking representation of the Lemaan Yilmedu Institute. Certificates are signed by leading city rabbis and members of the Chabad Rabbinical Council.
The program includes online and in-person classes in the following tracks: meat and milk, forbidden/permitted mixtures, melicha (salting meat), and Shabbat laws.
Courses are supported by visual presentations that explain the material clearly, along with interactive tools for student knowledge checks.
Each student receives study materials and hands-on mentoring all the way through successful certification and rabbinical ordination (smicha).
The institute also publishes a regular Russian bulletin, "Diamonds of Halacha," which explains practical laws in clear language with authoritative sources. It is published under the editorship of Rabbi Shmuel Fortman a-Partzi.
